When can I check in?
We recommend that you check in at least 90 minutes before the scheduled time of departure.
Our desks open 2 hours prior to departure and close 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. In order to safeguard punctual take-off, it is not possible for passengers to check in any later than this. A customer’s right to be carried lapses with their failure to check in on time.
In Cologne, Germanwings passengers with hand baggage only who are flying to one of a selected range of destinations have the option of checking in quickly and easily using check-in machines.
We regret that we do not offer an advance check-in service.
